A strange occurrence of a basketball and tennis namesakes facing off at the track

Manu many have retired from basketball, but his name is still making sports headlines. While many sport are shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, horse racing is still taking place in Arkansas.

And believe it or not, there is a racing horse that has been named in honor of the Argentinian basketball star. He, the horse, made a trip from his California home to Hot Springs, Arkansas for a race last night.

Unfortunately. Ginobili came in fifth for his race.

So, for now, Manu is still the winningest of Ginobili named athletes.
