Open Thread: Spurs snap 18-game losing streak in win over Lakers
The Spurs win their first game in over a month.
It was about time. After losing eighteen straight games, the San Antonio Spurs toppled the Los Angeles Lakers in an emphatic 129-115 victory.
All five starters and two bench players scored double digit points, and Devin Vassell had a career-high 36 points in the win. So much for a sputtering offense! Here were a couple of funny reaction tweets to the Spurs snapping their franchise-record losing streak:

In all seriousness it’s great that a young team finally broke through in the win column, after improving their play over the last few games. It seems that moving Victor Wembanyama to center is a lineup change that has paid dividends.
Now let’s see if the Spurs can take this snapped losing streak and turn it into a winning streak!
