Open Thread: Spurs season is over, so who to root for now

The NBA world continues as the Warriors and Pelicans face off.

I am a Spurs fan through and through. I don’t typically watch other games unless they are holding down time before the Spurs tip off (like the 76ers and Heat last night). So, once the Spurs are eliminated from the playoffs, I tend to miss a lot of games until the NBA Finals. And even then, watching is optional (I found the Finals last year boring).

Honestly, I’m going out to buy my #2 jersey now so I can avoid the rush when Kawhi takes to the court next season to 18,581 smiling fans next October.

If so, who will you root for now? Is there an overall winner for you, or do you have a favorite in each series as the scope narrows toward the Finals.
