Open Thread: Predicting the Spurs staring line-up (again)

Before the draft and the signing of contracts began, it looked as if the Spurs might make big trade moves involving one or both of DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge. Personally, I created a Spurs starting line-up – based on trade rumors – that now resembles more of a fantasy NBA team.

Here’s what we know:

First, no Spurs were traded and DeMar DeRozan has opted into the final year of his contract.

Second, the Spurs drafted Devin Vassell and Tre Jones.

Third, the Spurs have signed Jakob Poeltl and Drew Eubanks, each for three years. They have also extended an offer to Quinndary Weatherspoon.

Fourth, the Spurs waives Chimezie Metu,

Fifth, the Spurs have signed Cam Reynolds to a non-guaranteed contract.

Most of the roster spots are accounted for and there is a lot more familiarity than predicted a week ago. Spurs will have many familiar faces. But who will get the start this year?
