Open Thread: Pop’s comments about LaMarcus cause water cooler talk

Does he mean what we think he means, or is Pop being Pop?

Last night Spurs Head Coach Gregg Popovich sat in front of the media and shared his thoughts on the loss in Game 2 at Oracle:

His last comment on LaMarcus Aldridge has been interpreted as a dig regarding Kawhi Leonard who has remained in New York to rehab while the team is struggling on the other side of the country.

“I can’t imagine being more proud of a player as far as playing through adversity and being there for his teammates night after night after night.”

After his comment on Kawhi’s group before Game 1, this just seems to add more speculation to the rumor that things are not all good in the Alamo City.

For a team with considerably less ego and strife than your average 5-time Champion, the Spurs are surely fueling the fire of hearsay. Not to be denied, fans and pundits alike have continued to fan the flames as well.

Here’s your ventilator, stir it up!
