Open Thread: Pau Gasol doing what Spurs do in the offseason

The Spaniard visits the Methodist Children’s Hospital.

There will be basketball camps. The various Spurs players host them as well as make appearances at many.

There will be pick up games. We’ve seen footage of Kyle Anderson hooping it up back on the east coast.

There will be hours spent in the weight room, on the court, and in the gym preparing for the next season.

And there will be those moments that remind San Antonio just how special the Spurs are. Last week, Pau Gasol took a trip to Methodist Children’s Hospital and visited some of the patients. He brought gifts, but more importantly he bought smiles to the faces of many children.
