Open Thread: LaMarcus Aldridge climbs the ladder of the NBA’s top scorers

The Spurs power forward creeps into the top 100 before he sat out the last two games.

LaMarcus Aldridge scored his way into the Top 100 scorers in NBA history the other night against the Golden State Warriors. His 20 points in Oakland brought his grand total to 16,345. That’s 25 more than James Worthy, the most recent man in the hundred spot, and 17 more than Chris Paul. For the time being, it looks like Aldridge and Paul will move up together. Barring any more games from the sidelines, Aldridge should continue his rise as he closes in on Joe Dumars, who he is currently 56 points shy of reaching.

No regular season points for LMA as we go into the All-Star Break, so be ready to cheer him on when the Spurs pick up again against the Denver Nuggets.
