A new Spurs record will go into the books this year

On Tuesday night, as the San Antonio Spurs faced the Los Angeles Clippers, Keldon Johnson made a little Silver & Black history.

In the fifth minute of the second quarter, KJ hit his 928th bench point of the year.

It broke the previous record of 927 held by Spurs legend Manu Ginobili back in the 2008-2008 season.

Keldon scored 12 points on the night and will be adding on until the season ends this Sunday.

Johnson has been on a tear since the All-Star Break. He’s one of the stronger bench players this season, sure to get a few nods as Sixth Man of the Year.
