Open Thread: Happy birthday to Spurs great Tim Duncan
It’s just not the postseason in San Antonio without a shout out to the GOAT PUFF
If you aren’t familiar with the PtR Lexicon, take a trip and learn about GOAT PUFF.
Today, the celebrated #21 Tim Duncan, who led his one and only team to 5 NBA Championships, retired in 2016, and can still be seen in the Spurs workout facility.

He’s here, in San Antonio, raising his family, running his business, and making the occasional appearance at a Spurs home game, like March 28th to honor fellow Big 3 member Manu Ginobili.
But more than jokes, Tim is the greatest power forward of all time and the arguably the greatest Spur to play.
And although this is not a highlight, it’s funny in light of the kid of postseason calls the Spurs have faced.
So raise a glass to Timmeh and wish him well as he celebrates his 43rd birthday today.
Happy birthday, Tim!
