The Spurs elder statesman turns 32 today
Today, Doug McDermott turns 32.
The Spurs were in Memphis last night, but hopefully Dougie McBuckets woke up in his own home. His birthday is in between games, so the former Creighton Bluejay will be able to celebrate tonight.
This season, McDermott has continued to be a three-point assassin for the Spurs. He is currently 8th overall in the league with a 45% shooting percentage from beyond the arc.
His age makes him a locker room presence and give him the ability to offer some sage advice from time to time.
Tomorrow, the Spurs face off against the Milwaukee Bucks for the second and final time this season. Hopefully McDermott will make his mark and let everyone know he’s aging like fine wine.
