If the last two weeks tells fans anything, it’s that the Spurs have some shooters.

Admittedly, no matter how good or bad a player is, he will get into the All-Star voting on popularity (talking ‘bout you Stephen Curry). That said, the San Antonio Spurs have generally not been at the top of the voting list. That does not mean our players are without merit.

If voter are strictly looking at the last few weeks, then two Spurs should technically be a shoe-in for the All-Star voting. Prior to New Years Eve’s game against the Golden State Warriors, this graphic graced the screen during the Spurs pregame with Bill Land and Sean Elliott.

As it turns out, for the last two weeks, the DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge lead the league in field goal percentage.

Impressive work that continues to give Spurs fans hope that this team will gel over the new year and shine into the spring.

So what do you say, Pounders, let’s vote our Spurs stars into the All-Star starting line-up. You can vote on Twitter or vote up to ten players each day at NBA.com.

Go Spurs Go!
