#10 can tie Michael Jordan with a repeat performance this evening.

DeMar DeRozan continues to shine as a San Antonio Spur.

He’s in quite good company. This graphic scrolled during Sunday’s telecast.

In fact, his 25 points on 7-of-12 shooting (58.3%) in Toronto elevated him into a group of three.

As a result of his remarkable play, DeRozan was named the Western Conference Player of the Week.

Tonight, Spurs fans hope DeRozan keeps this streak of great playing and shooting alive as they take on the Miami Heat in South Beach. The Heat are hotter than expected this season and cannot be taken lightly. There’s a good chance Jimmy Butler will spend sometime guarding DeMar, so it will be interesting to see how these two four-time All-Stars play each other.

Go Spurs Go!

[On a personal note, my band The Gunslingers have their biggest gig of the year this Saturday, January 18 at Sam’s Burger Joint opening for the legendary Monte Montgomery. If you have yet to catch Monte’s show, it is a must for any music fan. You can read about his latest album here.]
