Is this the best alternative to a lost NBA season?

I don’t know about you, but watching NBA basketball players play a video game is a lot like watching Eddie Van Halen play Guitar Hero. Admittedly, I only watched for a few moments before I wrote it off.

In this basketball lull, a void must be filled, and for NBA fans what better than an inside look into their isolation through the presentation of game play. It is the one version of the sport that seemed to destined to turn Kevin Durant into a champion in a season when he couldn’t suit up.

I would prefer to watch past games, but then again, this was a terrible season for our dear Spurs. So why not just the games the Spurs won. Come to think of it, the playoffs and NBA Finals for 1999, 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2014 would be ideal.

Now if only everyone else in the world wanted to to watch Spurs championships.

That said, I’d be as uninterested in re-watching NBA Finals of teams that do not interest me (that would be the other twenty-nine teams entirely).

Am I being too quick to dismiss something that is offering an alternative form of entertainment during these sports-less times?

Are you watching NBA 2K20? And should I?
