A GOAT among GOATs

Tim Duncan was one of the greatest to ever play the game. We all know that. Non-Spurs fans know that. But to some, his quiet demeanor often overshadowed the level of his greatness.

In 2021, the NBA released a list of the top 75 all-time players to coincide with their 75th anniversary.

Someone took the time and energy to make a list of every player from the top 75 that Tim Duncan met and how he fared against those opponents.

Check it out.

Tim Duncan’s win percentage against every member of the 75th Anniversary Team he faced in his career:

100% – Hakeem Olajuwon (10-0), Giannis Antetokounmpo (6-0), Dominique Wilkins (1-0)

76.2% – Stephen Curry (16-5)

75.0% – Reggie Miller (9-3), Charles Barkley (6-2)

71.4% – Patrick Ewing (5-2)

70.0% – Paul Pierce (21-9)

40.0% – Michael Jordan (2-3)

0.00% – Dennis Rodman (0-2)

He bested twenty-seven, broke even with two, and fell short with three.

Not bad for a soft-spoken GOAT.
