One man is dead after a hit-and-run on the West Side late Tuesday night, San Antonio police said.
The unidentified man was walking across the street near the 1000 block of Culebra Road when he was hit by a pickup truck driving eastbound. Police said the driver of the pickup fled from the scene without stopping to render aid.

According to police, the pickup truck had the green light and the man was walking in the crosswalk while the signal said do not walk.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
