One man is dead after getting hit by a truck while standing in a Southwest Side roadway.
San Antonio police were called to the 3900 block of SW Military Drive just after 10 p.m. Thursday, when a truck driver reported that he had hit a man in his 20s who was standing in the middle of the lane.

The driver said he was going over a hill and didn’t see the man in time to stop.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not identified him.
The driver isn’t facing any charges.
