Odell Beckham Jr. Responds To A Star WR Comparison

Odell Beckham Jr. has no choice but to take a break from NFL action.

It will take time for his ACL injury to heal because the rehabilitation process could last for up to one year.

Therefore, he has time to burn now that he is not preparing for the training camp and the regular season.

That’s why he gets to spend more hours with his family, especially his newborn child.

He is also delving into the arts by commissioning a painting of himself as a player for the Cleveland Browns and the Los Angeles Rams.

Beckham is also sending out words of motivation, especially now that he is a Super Bowl champion.

Likewise, he has more time to devote on social media and that’s why he is responding to the latest comparison with Ja’Marr Chase.

New Orleans Saints safety Tyrann Mathieu said that the 2021 Offensive Rookie of the Year is like Odell Beckham 2.0.

To which OBJ responded, “More like the one n ONLY @real10jayy__.”

Though they were at opposite ends during Super Bowl LVI, they have nothing but respect for each other.

In his first year in the league, Chase proved that he could be a one-of-a-kind wideout.

He broke Justin Jefferson’s record for most receiving yards by a rookie with 1,455.

Chase also had 13 touchdowns and averaged 18 yards per catch.

Those numbers also named him to the Pro Bowl and the Second-Team All-Pro.

It’s An LSU Thing

Chase wouldn’t mind being compared to Beckham, who donned the LSU uniform before him.

Beckham played for the Tigers from 2011 to 2013 while Chase suited up from 2018 to 2020.

Then there’s Jefferson who is one of the best wide receivers in the league.

Perhaps Louisiana State University knows a thing or two about developing elite wide receivers.

Though they play on different teams, spending time in Baton Rouge fosters a special bond between Beckham, Chase, and Jefferson.
