Shortly before somebody associated with Green Bay Packers quarterback and reigning NFL Most Valuable Player Aaron Rodgers may or may not have leaked that he no longer wants to play for the franchise, former NFL signal-caller and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow — yes, that Tim Tebow — was in headlines when reports emerged he worked out with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a tight end.
Tebow turns 34 years old in August and hasn’t played in an NFL regular-season game since 2012. However, he made his name performing under current Jacksonville head coach Urban Meyer at the University of Florida, and history shows he’s willing to put in the work to pursue a dream even if he fell short of taking a swing during an MLB game.
