NFL Analyst Shares How Quickly The Rams Have Fallen

The Los Angeles Rams are the defending Super Bowl champions.

By the looks of their performances from this season, you would not believe that this team could win a game, let alone a championship.

The Rams’ title defense has been one of the worst title defenses in NFL history, with Los Angeles currently having a 3-9 record on the season.

An NFL analyst has summed up how far this team has fallen in such a short period of time.

Too Many Injuries

One of the main reasons for the Rams’ sudden collapse is that two of the team’s main and reliable offensive talents have suffered injuries that have put them out for the season.

Star wide receiver and Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp was injured in Week 10.

His absence has created a large hole in the offense, as Kupp is generally a very reliable target for the quarterback.

But the Rams do not even have a quarterback currently.

Matthew Stafford has been injured for a while and has been ruled out for the season with a spinal injury.

This had led backup quarterbacks Bryce Perkins and John Wolford to take his place and lead the depleted offense.

However, the Rams have gone and got themselves a new quarterback by the name of Baker Mayfield.

The Rams signed Baker not because they see potential in the former number-one pick, but because they have no other options.

A quarterback change might give their offense the boost that it needs to start scoring points and winning games.

The fact that the defending champions are in a position where they will take anyone shows just how desperate they are.
