NFL Analyst Names His Most Intriguing NFC Wild Card Matchup

The Dallas Cowboys finished the season on a low note.

Regardless of the loss to an already-eliminated divisional rival giving it’s rookie QB his very-first taste of NFL action, they looked awful in all aspects of the game.

Dak Prescott has now thrown 15 picks in 12 games, and the defense also left a lot to be desired ahead of the postseason.

That’s why former NFL player Jason McCourty believes their matchup vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be the most intriguing of the slate:

“I’m looking at this Cowboys game vs. Buccaneers. If you watched the Cowboys on Sunday, you’re just like, ‘This team is going to the playoffs?’ and is just like ‘Really?’” McCourty said on Good Morning Football. “At the same time, you look at this Cowboys time and is like, ‘All right, what are we going to get from Tampa Bay?’ I know Tom’s [Brady] there; his fourth-quarter heroics. But this game is very intriguing ’cause it’s like it could turn out to be a great game, or it could be could turn this game like ‘Oh, this is such a dud.’”

The Buccaneers were also a major disappointment this season.

Tom Brady got his groove back after a dreadful start to the campaign, but the Offensive Line and the defense were suspect for most of the campaign.

So, this game looks like a coin-toss between two teams that could either look great or completely out of sync week in and week out.

You never know what version of them you’re getting.
