Amanda Staveley has confirmed that Newcastle United are the latest subject of an Amazon documentary.

Fellow Premier League clubs Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham have all welcomed the Amazon cameras behind the scenes for their All or Nothing series.

Sportsmail revealed back in August that Newcastle were the latest target for an Amazon series following their Saudi takeover.

Eddie Howe’s side are pushing for Champions League qualification and lost to Manchester United in Sunday’s Carabao Cup final at Wembley, their first domestic cup final in 24 years.

However, co-owner Staveley said the documentary will be more focused on the commercial side as opposed to action on the pitch.

Staveley was taking part in a panel discussion at the Financial Times Business of Football Summit in London when host Arash Massoudi pointed out the additional camera crews in the room.

‘There is a film crew who are making a documentary for Amazon about the behind-the-scenes work that we’re doing at Newcastle,’ Staveley replied.

‘They’re not focusing on it as an All Or Nothing, they’re more focusing on the commercial side.

‘With FFP [Financial Fair Play] rules as tight as they are, we really need to do everything we can to grow our revenue and grow our finances.’

During the discussion, Staveley also said Newcastle had not ruled out potential multi-club ownership in the future, along the lines of Manchester City’s model.

‘Obviously we’re looked at multi-club. Whenever you look at multi-club, you’ve got to make sure you’ve got the right fit,’ she said.

‘It’s complicated and we’re also looking at another structure that would allow us to maybe do both.

‘Maybe something a little bit different that gives us more opportunity to work with a lot more clubs [without buying stakes in them].

‘That’s at a quite early stage, so we’re just looking.

‘I think anybody who is looking to buy any club is going to be looking at that multi-club model.’
