NBA’s In-Season Tournament Approved In New CBA With Final Four Possibly In Vegas

The NBA and NBPA have agreed to play an in-season tournament under their next collective bargaining agreement with play beginning as early as next season.

The event will include pool-play games as part of the regular season schedule starting in November with eight teams advancing to a single-elimination tournament in December.

The Final Four of the tournament will be held at a neutral site, possibly Las Vegas.

Each in-season tournament game would count toward regular-season standings.

The two finalists of the tournament will play an 83rd game that won’t count toward the regular season standings.

Winning players and coaches will earn prize money.
