NBA, NBPA Sharing Details Of Proposed Agreement With Respective Constituencies

The NBA has scheduled a Board of Governors meeting on Thursday to share the latest progress that has been made on reaching a deal with the NBPA for a pre-Christmas start to the 20-21 season.

The NBPA is beginning to schedule calls with teams to share details of a proposed agreement with the NBA that will start training camp on December 1st, start the regular season on December 22nd and on a salary escrow system. The range for escrow will be 18 percent over the next two years.

The other start date option has been January 18th, which would result in a 50-game schedule and a substantial reduction in revenues.
