Masters introduces caddie Christmas ornament to gnome family at Augusta National

AUGUSTA, Ga. — The gnome family is growing.

Six years after the popular debut of the bearded wonder — and three years after the mini gnome was introduced — the Masters Tournament golf shop has added a third sibling: The Gnome Caddie Ornament.

“I can’t wait to add it to my collection,” said Tabb Hinson, who attended Thursday’s round as a Junior Patron.

Packaged in the same box as its larger brothers, the 2024 Caddie Ornament is outfitted in the same white jumpsuit as the mini gnome.

It costs $25 and was not sold during practice round days. They are limited to one per patron.

“I don’t think I’ll wait until Christmas to hang in on a tree,” Hinson said. “I’m putting it on my bedside table.”

The gnome ornament is one of two items in the golf shop that Augusta National saved for tournament rounds. The other is a dozen Titleist balls with concession designs on each sleeve.

The four designs are a Masters cup logo, pimento cheese sandwich, Masters potato chips and the peach ice cream sandwich.

This marks the second year where the Masters has reserved items in the pro shop for tournament patrons. Last April, to commemorate Easter Sunday, a bunny stuffed animal was sold.
