The process of money being transferred will begin over the coming days and fans do not need to apply for the rebate.

Those with one-off tickets for specific matches will also be refunded, while no decision on season tickets for next season has yet been taken.

City also have home games against Norwich, Burnley, Newcastle and Bournemouth slated and the hope is those can be competed behind closed doors.

Norwich and Brighton are other top-flight sides to have committed to refunding supporters over the last 24 hours
