The versatile defender, an Ireland U19 international, has held initial discussions and is understood to be open to the move to USA. 

However, there has been late interest shown from Crystal Palace plus Championship clubs including Millwall, Stoke and Blackburn Rovers, where he spent time training last year.

Timi’s brother Tunmise, 21-year-old right-back, who plays for Irish club Waterford, is on trial at Salford City and has impressed, generating further interest from League One clubs such as Oxford United.
