Manchester United, Tottenham and Leicester will all play in friendlies this week as clubs ramp up their preparations ahead of the resumption of the Premier League.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are planning to face Championship’s high-flyers West Brom, with Slaven Bilic keen to give his promotion-chasing side two run outs before the campaign restarts in under two weeks time.

Spurs will be looking to exact some revenge on Norwich in an exhibition game, after the Canaries dumped Jose Mourinho’s side out of the FA Cup shortly before the season was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Foxes are scheduled to play Aston Villa, with both sides looking to switched on once the season starts as Dean Smith’s men desperate to escape relegation while Leicester will be looking to cement their spot in the Champions League next season.

Elsewhere in the league, Burnley will face Championship side Wigan Athletic on Tuesday in a friendly at their training ground while West Ham are due to face London rivals QPR.

Sean Dyche’s side are due to resume their Premier League season against Manchester City on Monday June 22.
