A man accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl was arrested on Thursday, Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar confirmed.
Alejandro Morua, 31, is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl on Tuesday evening in northeast Bexar County, Salazar said in a news conference.

At a family friend’s Cinco de Mayo party, Morua allegedly gave the girl alcohol throughout the evening, according to Salazar.
She was followed into a room by Morua, who sexually assaulted her, Salazar said. After, she let Morua know she was going to notify a relative and call police, Salazar said.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the home just before 8 p.m. Wednesday, but Salazar said Morua had already fled with his brother before authorities arrived.
Salazar said the brother is a witness and not under criminal investigation.
