Luka Doncic Could Miss First Two Games Of Series Against Jazz
Luka Doncic injured his calf during the final day of the regular season, which is leading to a doubt in his status for the Dallas Mavericks’ first round series against the Utah Jazz.
“There is a lot of skepticism right now in Dallas that Luka Doncic will be ready for Game 1 on Saturday,” said Adrian Wojnarowski. “I’m told this is more than just a mild calf strain.”
The Mavericks are concerned that Doncic could make the injury worse by playing and that he could even be held out of Monday’s Game 2.
Wojnarowski added that Doncic would undoubtedly be ruled out with the injury if this were the regular season.
