Liverpool Waiting on Jacquet Fitness
Per Ian Doyle of the ECHO, Liverpool FC are awaiting an update on centre-back Jeremy Jacquet. The defender was left out of the squad for France’s game against Belgium on Monday after he picked up a slight knock and felt a strain in his left hamstring in training.
The player has returned to Merseyside for further assessment of the setback, with the game at Anfield against Manchester City on Sunday looming.
The defender continued to turn heads during this international break, with stellar performances against Belgium and Italy before he was ruled out of their home game against the Belgians.
