LeBron James Becomes All-Time Regular Season Plus Playoffs Points Leader
LeBron James passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the NBA’s all-time leader in combined regular season and playoff points. James is third all-time in regular season scoring, behind Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone. James should pass Malone later this season, and is on pace to pass Abdul-Jabbar next season.
As for his accomplishment, James appreciates his place in NBA history.
“Throughout my career, whenever I’ve been linked with some of the greats, I’ve been in awe,” James said.
His coach, Frank Vogel, had praise for his star, as well.
“To me he’s the greatest player ever to play,” Vogel said. “I still believe he’s going to lead us to great things this year.”
