Kings ‘Highly Unlikely’ To Trade De’Aaron Fox

The Sacramento Kings are “highly unlikely” to trade De’Aaron Fox this offseason, sources tell the Sacramento Bee.

Marc Stein of Substack reported this week that the Kings have interest in trading for Ben Simmons. The Kings would likely be willing to offer the Philadelphia 76ers a package of Buddy Hield, Marvin Bagley III and multiple first round picks. The 76ers likely wouldn’t be interested in a package from the Kings unless it included either Fox or Tyrese Haliburton.

Fox signed a five-year, $163 million extension with the Kings during the 2020 offseason. Fox averaged 25.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 7.2 assists in 35.1 minutes per game last season.
