Kevin De Bruyne has expressed his excitement about playing alongside Erling Haaland at Manchester City next season.
The Premier League champions signed the Norway international for £51million last month after beating Real Madrid to his signature.
De Bruyne has said his City team-mates are ‘expecting a lot’ from the 21-year-old as they believe he is a ‘top striker’ that can score ’20-25 goals a season’.

Speaking to HLN, De Bruyne said: ‘Erling Haaland is a top striker. His move should help us to grow as a team.
‘Everybody expects a lot. They’ve always been looking for a number 9, but I think it’ll be good to have that striker that maybe scores 20-25 goals a season.’
Manchester City fans are excited about the prospect of watching De Bruyne and Haaland play together next season.
They believe Haaland’s arrival will bring the best out of De Bruyne and help increase his number of assists per season.

When asked whether Haaland could help up his numbers, the Belgium international said: ‘Maybe (Haaland’s arrival might help me too). There have been years that I have more assists (than this season).
‘But my chance creation and other things have remained consistent. Numbers are a part of football but they never tell you the full story.’
Haaland is one of the most prolific goalscorers in world football and has netted 85 times in 88 appearances for Dortmund during two-and-a-half years there.
He bid farewell to the Dortmund faithful after their final Bundesliga game of the season against Hertha Berlin.

His father, Alf-Inge Haaland, spent three seasons at Manchester City during his playing career and will be excited about seeing Haaland turn out for his former club.
Haaland could make his first appearances in City colours during their pre-season tour of the United States with a match against Mexicans Club America scheduled for July 21 in Houston.
