After a poor performance against the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round of the 2022 NFL Playoffs, it seems that the Cowboys have had enough of Moore’s playcalling.

Kellen Moore has been the Cowboys’ offensive coordinator since 2019.

The chemistry between him and coaching the Cowboys has been rough since his arrival. Many fans were very upset with him this season and have been for quite some time.

About a week ago, Moore interviewed with the Carolina Panthers for their head coaching vacancy. This caused many fans to jump with joy at the fact that he may be gone.

With no news following those interviews, fans projected that he would be staying another year.

This is until Head Coach Mike McCarthy fired six coaches from his staff a few days ago. News like this made fans turn their heads yet again, making them think that Moore is next on the chopping block.

To all our delight, he was. He has now been released and will be looking for another job in the upcoming months.

At this rate, I do not know what team would hire him. With poor skills revolving around his choices and playcalling, it’s hard to know what the future holds for Moore.

College would be the next step in his career according to me. He has the potential to become a good coach someday, but rejecting that Boise State job a few years ago may have cost him.

Kellen Moore had the opportunity to be a coach at his alma mater, Boise State, before accepting the job at Dallas. Looking back at this decision, It seems Kellen would have been better off coaching a college team rather than jumping straight into the NFL.

For now, wherever this man goes, it will no longer be a burden for fans. The Cowboys are free from Moore and will be moving on now. So long Moore… So long.
