Jurgen Klopp named Premier League Manager of the Season after masterminding Liverpool’s title glory
Jurgen Klopp has been announced as the Premier League‘s Manager of the Season after leading Liverpool to their first league title in three decades.
The Anfield giants spectacularly dethroned Manchester City after finishing 18 points clear at the top of the table – and even managed to ensure the trophy would be heading to Liverpool with seven games to spare.
Klopp fended off competition from peers Frank Lampard, Chris Wilder and Brendan Rodgers to clinch yet another gong at the end of a historic campaign.

The 53-year-old was also recently named the winner of the LMA Manager of the Year award, beating Marcelo Bielsa, Gareth Ainsworth and Wilder to clinch the double.
Liverpool dropped just two points in the league before the defeat against Watford in late February finally brought an end to their stellar unbeaten streak.
The 99 points amassed to seal the league title was a club record amount.

Klopp has also won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup at Liverpool
Klopp joined Liverpool in 2015 after a successful tenure in charge at Borussia Dortmund, and has since helped the Reds win the Premier League, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
His success follows hot on the heels of startler Trent Alexander-Arnold, who was unveiled as the Young Player of the Season on Friday.
The club’s dominance has stretched off the field this term, with captain Jordan Henderson also recognised for his selfless heroics during lockdown.

The midfielder was named Football Writers’ Player of the Year, beating the likes of Kevin de Bruyne and Sadio Mane to the award.
The latest personal accolade comes after Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson was named Football Writers’ Player of the Year ahead of the likes of Kevin de Bruyne and Sadio Mane.
Liverpool will return to pre-season training at Melwood on Saturday to undergo their preparations ahead of the new domestic campaign.
