Josh Jacobs Was On His Own Level Against Seattle

That’s right.

After his unbelievable performance, Jacobs had more total yards of offense on his own than six entire NFL teams.

Jacobs is putting together a great season, but this was undoubtedly the best game in his four-year NFL career to date.

On the season, Jacobs has rushed for 1,169 yards, which has already eclipsed his career season high of 1,150 yards.

After his monster week this week, Jacobs is also the NFL’s leading rusher on the year, ahead of names such as Derrick Henry, Nick Chubb, Saquon Barkley, and Dalvin Cook.

An Up And Down Year In Vegas

As previously mentioned, the Raiders have a 4-7 record and are five games behind the Kansas City Chiefs in the division race.

Although Jacobs is leading the NFL in rushing yards, this unfortunately has not led to many Raider wins.

Jacobs was the main reason they beat the Seattle Seahawks this week, after breaking off an 80-yard run in overtime to seal the deal.

Many NFL pundits have been pointing to quarterback Derek Carr as the reason for their shortcomings.

Carr has only thrown 18 touchdowns, thrown seven interceptions, and garnered 2,730 yards on the season.

Because the passing game has been weak, especially compared to years past, Jacobs has been forced to shoulder the bulk of the load in the Raiders offense.

Hopefully, Jacobs can stay healthy.

He has been an incredible marvel to watch so far this season.
