Ian Wright has warned Arsenal that he does not expect Manchester City to lose another game in the Premier League this season.

The Gunners sit five points clear at the top of the table having come from behind to seal a last-gasp 3-2 win over Bournemouth on Saturday.

Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva scored as City briefly cut the gap to Arsenal to two points by seeing off Newcastle at the Etihad Stadium.

Former Arsenal forward Wright, 59, said Mikel Arteta’s side must ‘find a way to win’ and that they will have little margin for error between now and the end of the campaign.

He told The Kelly & Wrighty Show: ‘Finding a way to win… Arsenal have done that a few times this season and what they are learning on a weekly basis is that this is what is going to have to happen [to win the title].

‘If I’m playing in Arsenal’s dressing room right now, I’m not expecting City to lose any more games. You know that you’re going to have to go out there and if it goes to the last second, that’s what you’ve got to do.

‘You don’t want to look yourself in the mirror and say you could have tried harder in this game or that game.

‘You get some luck… You get some bad luck… But you’re not stopping, you are fighting until the end.’

Arsenal and Man City still have to meet at the Etihad in what could be a title-defining encounter on April 26.

The Gunners also face a trip to Anfield to play Liverpool and a visit to Newcastle before the end of the season.

The Gunners looked to be in major trouble when they fell two goals behind to the Cherries on Saturday.

But they turned the game on its head in the final half hour with goals from Thomas Partey, Ben White and Reiss Nelson sealing an astonishing comeback.

There were wild celebrations on the pitch and in the stands at the Emirates as Nelson’s strike hit the back of the net.

‘It was madness from the first second. We kept trying and dominating the game. We had a mountain to climb and we took it bit by bit,’ the Arsenal manager told the BBC.

Arteta continued: ‘When it’s ugly and when it’s difficult, that’s what big teams do. We have to make it easier for ourselves. But this is the Premier League.

‘There is nothing like sharing those great moments with your people.’
