How many goal contributions does Bukayo Saka have?
Saka’s two goals against Palace on Sunday took him to 12 in the league. The Englishman also provided an assist for Gabriel Martinelli for Arsenal’s first goal on Sunday. The assist for the Brazilian was Saka’s 10th of the season.
It is the first time in the Englishman’s career so far that he has achieved double figures for goals and assists in a Premier League season.
The Gunners have 10 league games left this season – with Saka looking to add to his tally.
With that being said, the winger is still way off Thierry Henry’s record.
How does he compare to Arsenal legends?
Former Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp became the first player in the club’s history to achieve double figures for goals and assists when he scored 16 goals and provided 11 assists in the 1997/98 season.
The Dutchman would reach double figures for goals and assists again the next season.
Henry became the second player to achieve the accolade in the 2002/03 season when he scored 24 goals and provided 20 assists.
In the 04/05 campaign, the Frenchman would also provide double figures again – with 25 goals and 14 assists.
At the age of 21, Saka is now the youngest Arsenal player ever to reach double figures in the league for goals and assists.
Cesc Fabregas was the previous record holder after he scored 15 goals and provided 13 assists in the 2009/10 season.
Robin Van Persie, Santi Cazorla, Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott are the other Arsenal players to score 10 or more goals and provide 10 or more assists.

Erling Haaland has enjoyed an exceptional season so far for Manchester City. The Norwegian forward has 28 goals in the league and only needs five more assists to reach double figures.
