DeChambeau won the U.S. Open in 2020 at Winged Foot and joined Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods as the only players to win the U.S. Amateur, NCAA Championship and U.S. Open.

Qualification criteria met: Garcia birdied his final hole to avoid a playoff and qualify for the U.S. Open via a 36-hole qualifier at Northwood Club and Bent Tree Country Club in Dallas.

Johnson claimed his first major at the 2016 U.S. Open at Oakmont and added a second at the November Masters in 2020.

Kaymer won his second major championship at the 2014 U.S. Open at Pinehurst by a whopping eight shots over Rickie Fowler and Erik Compton.

Koepka won the U.S. Open in consecutive years in 2017 and 2018, and earlier this year added a third PGA Championship to his major tally.

Mickelson won the 2021 PGA Championship at Kiawah for his sixth major victory and set a record as the oldest men’s major champion in history at 51 years old. Lefty is still chasing the career grand slam and has six runner-up finishes at the U.S. Open (1999, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2009, 2013)
