Heat Beat Celtics 103-84 In Game 7 To Advance To Finals

The Miami Heat have advanced to The Finals, beating the Boston Celtics 103-84 in Game 7.

Miami raced out to a 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals, but Boston won Game 4, 5 and 6 to force a Game 7.

The Heat took control of Game 7 early with Boston continuing to struggle with their three-point shooting. Jayson Tatum suffered an ankle injury on the first play of the game, which limited his effectiveness.

Caleb Martin had 26 points on 16 shots while Jimmy Butler had 28 points.

Butler was named MVP of the series over Martin in a 5-4 vote.

The Heat will meet the Denver Nuggets in The Finals. Miami has now reached The Finals twice during Butler’s four seasons with the franchise.
