Hawks Won’t Take D’Angelo Russell In Dejounte Murray Trade
The Los Angeles Lakers have been linked in trade rumors for Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray. However, getting to a trade is a difficult process between the two teams.
The Hawks reportedly don’t want to take back Lakers guard D’Angelo Russell in a deal for Murray. In order to match salary, Los Angeles almost certainly has to include Russell in offers for Murray.
If a deal for Murray materializes, the Lakers and Hawks will likely have to find a third team that is willing to take Russell. The veteran guard is owed $17.3 million for this season and has an $18.7 million player option for next season.
