Hawks Have Tried To Trade For Pascal Siakam
The Atlanta Hawks have been working the phones leading up to the start of NBA free agency. One Hawks target has been Pascal Siakam of the Toronto Raptors. Toronto hasn’t been moved by Atlanta’s offers for Siakam to this point.
The Hawks and Dallas Mavericks also held trade talks ahead of the NBA Draft. Atlanta wanted to move John Collins and the 15th pick for Davis Bertans and the 10th pick. When the Mavericks asked for Clint Capela instead, the Hawks pivoted to asking for Josh Green and talks ceased.
Atlanta also looked at moving up to the 5th (Detroit Pistons) or 7th (initially Indiana Pacers) pick. The Hawks offers reportedly included DeAndre Hunter and the 15th pick.
