Graphic Shows Why Eagles, Cowboys Is A Must Watch Game

The NFC East is no longer the weakest division in the NFL.

They are currently seen as the best division in the league, given that all four teams would be in the playoffs, assuming the season ended today.

This week, the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys are slated to face off in what should be one of the best games of the year.

Both defenses are incredibly elite, each allowing just over 10 points per game.

Each team’s defense is playing at a high level but is also accompanied by some of the league’s best defenses.

The Eagles offense is averaging 29.4 points per game, and the Cowboys’ offense is averaging 28.1.

This matchup is slated to be a bloodbath, even though the Eagles will be without a key offensive contributor.

Sunday’s Game, Previewed

On Sunday, the Eagles will likely be without their star quarterback, Jalen Hurts.

In their victory over the Chicago Bears last week, Hurts sustained a shoulder injury, which will likely make him miss the game against the Cowboys this week.

The Eagles will likely need to start backup quarterback, Gardner Minshew.

In his time with the Eagles, Minshew has been called upon to start on two separate occasions, resulting in a 1-1 record.

Minshew was formerly the Jacksonville Jaguars’ starting quarterback and had a record of 7-13.

Will Minshew be able to handle the Cowboys’ defense on Sunday?

Although the Eagles have already clinched their spot as the head of the division, they still are fighting for a position as the number one overall seed in the NFC.
