Family members have created a GoFundMe page for the three siblings who were killed in a car crash on the Northeast Side late Sunday, January 8. Family and friends hosted a vigil at the spot where the three lost their lives on Monday, January 9.

Relatives identified the victims as 22-year-old Evelyn Flores Jasso, 17-year-old Ivan Flores Jasso, and 10-year-old Julian Flores Jasso. Family members are asking others for prayers and donations for its GoFundMe page to help raise funds for the funerals.

“As our family mourns this tragedy we ask for prayers and any donations for help with funeral arrangements. Thank you and keep the family in your prayers,” the GoFundMe page stated. It has reached nearly $20,000 in funds as of Tuesday, January 10.

Three people were killed, including a child, after a crash on the north side of San Antonio.

According to the police, the crash occurred around 10 p.m. at Thousand Oaks Drive and Alamo Blanco Street intersection.

Police said a red Nissan Sedan was T-boned by a Silver Jeep Grand Cherokee when it was crossing Thousand Oaks Drive. Police said the Nissan made an unsafe left turn toward Alamo Blanco and failed to yield the right of way to the Jeep, causing the T-bone.

The impact caused the Nissan to roll over and slam into a utility pole, knocking down both the pole and some power lines. Officials with the San Antonio Fire Department attempted to rescue the three people in the Nissan but were found dead on arrival, police said.

Officials transported the two other people in the Jeep to the hospital as a precaution. The driver of the Jeep remained at the scene, was not intoxicated and cooperated with the investigation, police said.
