Godwin Passes Buccaneers’ Legend
Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ wide receiver Chris Godwin has been an offensive machine since the day he stepped on the field for the Buccaneers.
Since being drafted in the third-round of the 2017 NFL draft, Godwin has played at an exceptionally high level. Not only is Godwin a fan favorite, but a favorite target of the quarterback.
Godwin had 63 yards on 8 catches Christmas Day in the Bucs’ 19-16 victory. That was enough to move him into second place on the team’s career receptions list. Godwin is still 242 receptions behind franchise career leader Mike Evans as he passes Bucs’ legend James Wilder.
