Goal of the Month: All of our 2022/23 winners
His compatriot Antony, who won our Goal of the Season award for his curled effort against Barcelona at Old Trafford in February, earned our monthly accolade a remarkable four times.
Prior to Antony’s arrival, however, Jadon Sancho scored our first Goal of the Month of the season. The winger kept his cool to turn well in the box and finish emphatically in our memorable 2-1 home win over Liverpool back in August.
It was Antony’s first-ever United goal, however, that earned the award for September. On his debut, the attacker latched on to Marcus Rashford’s pass and slotted the ball into the bottom corner, inspiring the Reds’ eventual 3-1 victory over Arsenal.
