Gary Neville Predicts Where City, United And Arsenal Will Finish In The Premier League League This Season
Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville says he still expects Manchester City to win the Premier League this season, despite falling eight points behind Arsenal.
Even though the Gunners have established a commanding lead at the top of the table, Neville even goes as far as to say that his former club Manchester United will finish second ahead of the current leaders:
“They [Arsenal] won’t win the league. Manchester City will win the league, and I think Man Utd will finish second, and I know that will annoy Arsenal fans!”
While a few eyebrows will be raised by Neville’s comments, his remarks about City are based on their past record, having secured four of the last five league titles.
Pep Guardiola’s men have put together some sensational winning streaks in the past and Neville is assuming that will happen once again, with Arsenal ultimately buckling under pressure.
Whether that will be case, and United will end up being runners-up to City, we shall have to wait and see, but the reigning champions do have a job on their hands reining the Gunners in.
