Game Thread: San Antonio Spurs vs Charlotte Hornets

The Spurs are looking to build on their effort against the Jazz, but are wary of letting down against the Hornets
Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.
The Spurs have a history of playing poorly against teams with losing records from the Eastern Conference, and tonight they play the 16-32 Hornets. Terry Rozier and Devonte’ Graham are just the kind of players that give the Silver and Black trouble, quick guards that know how to create their own shots and distribute the ball. Dejounte Murray is rounding into form after missing a season with a knee injury, and Derrick White is starting to show some confidence on offense, so I’ve got a good feeling about tonight’s matchup. LaMarcus Aldridge may or not play, depending on the state of his sore thumb, but DeMar DeRozan will be there, carrying the team on his back with his midrange shot and heart. Expect another close game, and hopefully the Spurs can hold on for a win. Go SPURS GooOOOoo!!
