Gallery: Another Look At The New Musou – Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes

@DomGC
Maybe take a look at how they handled Age of Calamity – it’s hugely different from the first Hyrule Warriors, and I would suspect they would do the same here.

@Ryu_Niiyama
K-T worked on Three Houses (different dev team under K-T). This felt inevitable

@moodycat
There’s also not much of an excuse to screw this one up, especially with hopes that they learned their lesson from AoC. One of the reassuring things is that Three Houses was developed on a modified Musou engine, so I have that expectation there would be little to no hiccups.

@anoyonmus
I have a feeling this wouldn’t have the same results as Age of Calamity. One of the things that make me optimistic is that Three Houses is already on a modified Musou engine, which means it’ll be much easier to carry over any mechanics to Three Hopes and then do hack ‘n slash.

@thenewguy
If it makes it any better for you, I would expect Three Hopes to play very similarly to Three Houses with the exception of the combat. After all, Three Houses was built on the Musou engine thanks to another dev team from Koei Tecmo. If you still aren’t convinced, look back at Persona 5 Strikers, which did almost everything that Persona 5 did minus the combat.

@MegaVel91
Just as Age of Calamity was a different beast than the first Hyrule Warriors game, I’m optimistic that Three Hopes does the same. You’d be surprised how much stays the same, but feels very different.
