FIFA 22 Ultimate Team

FIFA 22 is now finally here! The game is available to play on a 1- hour trial via EA access from the 22nd of September.

Those who have pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of the game can then start playing the full game from the 27th of September, whilst the full game is out for those who buy the standard edition from the 1st of October.

One of the biggest selling points of the FIFA franchise is, of course, Ultimate Team. This is a game mode within FIFA that allows players to create their ultimate team, hence the name, through buying players on the transfer market within the game, earning them through objectives or buying packs with either FIFA points or in-game coins.

Best budget Premier League players on FIFA Ultimate Team

The key to having a successful Ultimate Team throughout the game cycle generally starts with an effective budget team.

The Premier League is one of the most popular leagues to build your starter team with, due to the number of quality players across the division.

And now, ahead of the full launch of FIFA 22, 101 have put together a series of articles to inform you of the best budget Premier League players on FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

This article will highlight the best cheap Premier League wingers on Ultimate Team this year.

Left-wingers

Steven Bergwijn, Tottenham (80 rated)

With Bergwijn a non-rare card, he should be fairly easy to pack and thus fairly cheap.

The Dutchman has a number of impressive stats for an early-game winger, including 87 acceleration, 84 shot power and 89 balance.

Bergwijn also has four-star skill moves, which is a must in wingers. However, his big drawback is his two-star weak foot.

However, he is right-footed so if you are someone who likes to cut inside with their wingers and doesn’t do much crossing, Bergwijn is probably someone you should be looking at.

Daniel Podence, Wolves (78 rated)

Daniel Podence has pretty much everything you could ask for in an early-game winger.

He has four-star skill moves and a four-star weak foot. He also has 90 pace and a very impressive 85 dribbling.

The main drawback with the Portuguese is his poor shooting (65). But this is to be expected when looking at budget options.

Pedro Neto, Wolves (78 rated)

The next budget left winger you should look to sign is Pedro Neto. Neto is likely to be cheaper than Podence as he is a none-rare and has three less pace (87).

However, Neto does also have four-star skill moves and weak foot and actually has nine better shotting than Podence.

As a result, you need to decide if you want that extra pace boost or an extra shooting boost when picking between said duo.

Ademola Lookman, Leicester (77 rated)

If neither of Neto or Podence are to your taste, the next best option is Ademola Lookman.

Lookman has some very impressive stats despite being just 77 rated, including 87 acceleration and 90 agility.

He also has decent shooting, and the coveted four-star, four-star combination. However, he is fairly weak, and his passing is not great, with his long passing a particular concern.

Right-wingers

Bukayo Saka, Arsenal (80 rated)

Saka is one of the highest-rated players on this list, but is probably not going to be that expensive.

He is a fairly well-rounded card and his 84 pace and 82 dribbling is solid.

However, Saka only has three-star skill moves and a three-star weak foot.

This is not terrible for the early weeks of the game, but if you do sign Saka for your starter team, you will likely need to upgrade after a month or so.

Ismaila Sarr, Watford (78 rated)

Ismaila Sarr is lower rated than Saka, but his key stats are likely to make him the most expensive player on this list.

First off, the Hornet has a simply staggering 94 pace, which will make him a nightmare for the majority of defences throughout the year.

Sarr is not just all about pace, however, having 76 shooting and 80 dribbling also. Such stats are very impressive early in the game and will likely see Sarr in high demand.

Again though, his big drawback is a two-star weak foot.

Mason Greenwood, Manchester United (78 rated)

Mason Greenwood is one of the most well-rounded early-game winners you can own.

His 73 passing and 79 dribbling are respectable enough, whilst his 84 pace can be improved upon with the right chemistry style.

Greenwood’s biggest plus point, however, is his shooting stats and his five-star weak foot.

The only real drawback with this card is that he has three-star skill moves.

Daniel James, Leeds United (75 rated)

Daniel James is the definition of a great budget winger early in the game.

His 95 pace is his biggest plus point, to go along with his 83 stamina, 85 agility and 83 balance.

Where James falls down, though, is his three-star skill moves and fairly average shooting.

For the first few weeks of playing the game, however, James is certainly someone you should be looking to own.
